About the Team at Avert Snow Science ManagementOur Mission Statement is to provide the easiest-to-use and most thorough data collection and business management system for the snow science industry. Daniel Curry is the chief software engineer responsible
for the design and implementation of Avert Online Snow
Science Systems. Through his company AgentC, formed in
1999, Dan has years of experience in the software industry.
With his Masters in Computer Science, major in Human Computer
Interface, Dan places special emphasis on the usability
of his innovative software products.
Michele
Rideout is the business manager of Avert Online
Snow Science Systems. With her law and commerce degrees,
Michele has worked in both legal and business domains,
and managed a government-funded employment resource centre.
For Michele, customer service is of the utmost importance,
with a view to helping members easily make the most productive
use of our systems.
Mark
Stanley is our field consultant. As a fully certified ACMG ski guide with a Level 2 in Avalanche Safety, Mark has worked for a number of years in both the Canadian touring and mechanized ski guiding industries. With his considerable backcountry experience, Mark provides a valuable practical resource for our product design and review.
